Holy Week Alternatives!
During tourist peak season, we encounter such problems like:
Finding a place to take a good photo at Kiltepan for the Sunrise,
Can you even move at Sumaging Cave?
Where can i sit and relax while watching the sun to set?
Over Populated and No Water @ Bomod-ok?

Need Solutions?
You can modify your Itineraries by:
Hiking your way to
Marlboro Mountain for the Sunrise or Divert your Tour there instead.
From there, you could also view a lot of rice terraces and the trail is easy.

Check out the
Balangagan Cave, it's as beautiful as the
Sumaging Cave, the good thing is, only few visit these place, great for picnics and pictures. Less slippery trail.
Mt. Ampacao, one of the best hiking tours in the place where one could view breathtaking rice terraces and mountain sceneries. Nearing
Lake Danum, you could find a good spot to sit down and enjoy the view of the sunset.

Take a Hike from
Marlboro Mountain to the
Blue Soil Hills of South Eastern Sagada.

If you are bored with touring the normal Sagada caves over and over again, you might want to take an extreme tour to the
Crystal Cave.
Crystal cave tour is already offered by Saggas @ 2k per head, please book your tour in advance
Don't Say you did not know! :) so work your itineraries closely with your guides.... im sure they can think something out!

in which month were these photos taken?
thanks
well, one was during summer(April), the others were December, November, and some certain holiday.. the point is, i think it will be like this, on saturday, however, don't worry folks, the guide at Saggas are working on a plan to lessen that problem :)
we will be arriving at Sagada early october for 2/3 days. I understand we should avoid saturday if we want to avoid the crowds??
nagawa namin ung sunset in between the mountains of mt ampacao at lake danum kais naligaw kame!hahaha.
Plano namin magpunta dito sa december. Dec 23-27 to be exact. Marami bang tao pag ganitong dates? and may plan na ba kayo para sa bonfire this year?
Excited to visit sagada again. :D
before december, konte po tourists however, after Christmas then people would start flocking to sagada.. the bonfire fest would land on the 28th day of December po.. sana makapag attend ho kayo :)
^sayang mukhang di namin aabutan. Anyway, see you soon.:D
Interesting yung pag view ng sunrise sa marlboro, kung sakali, anung oras ang simula ng trek, and gaano katagal ang paakyat and pagbaba sa mountain?
Same as pongas falls, gaano kaya katagal ito?. And how about the rates? wala atang nakapublish dito.
hello,
i'm planning a trip to sagada-bataad-banaue for oct 16-19. are there guide available that will show us all the way to banaue?
we are interested in trekking, seeing the caves and the hanging coffins.
when we arrive in sagada do we arrange to have our guide meet at our lodging or how does it work?
Hello, we just came from an awesome trip in Sagada last week end. It's a very beautiful place. We went to Bomod-ok Falls and I saw that there's still a lot of water falling from it and not as overpopulated as the pictures uploaded here. A trip to Sagada is definitely incomplete without surviving the hike to the Big Falls and feeling the welcoming cool mist on your face.
Amm, I think we're talking about Holy Week here, not the day you went there.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Yes, there is no need for NOC and they are very accommodating and helpful, just be sure that your documents and requirements are complete. Enjoy your tour!
