Fresh passion fruit is known to be high in vitamin A, potassium, and dietary fiber. Passion fruit juice is a good source of ascorbic acid (vitamin C).

The yellow variety is used for juice processing, while the purple variety is sold in fresh fruit markets.

The good:

This food is low in Sodium, and very low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Potassium, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A and Vitamin C.

The bad:
A large portion of the calories in this food come from sugars.
