The event was the first mass invitation of guests during the December Tourist peak season. The organization responsible for the event, encountered many problems but learned greatly to paving the way for organizing another :D.... This single most wonderful moment held in the night of this lake gave our clients the experience of their lives.. you'll know em later :D
But before that, you must learn how they made that event possible!!
it started with planning, and voluntary wood collecting of none other than the SAGGAS boyz!

Preparation included guide volunteers for the wood gathering and clearing the area from Bat Dung :D, others, surveyed the area for security and fern collection (you'll know why later)
okay so enough with the preparation thing, "nag papa-awa lang kami ehh".. here are the experiences of the guests:
1) the Clouds, smudged the area, it created a cool cool atmosphere.
5) the best Most unique one which i call
STRIKE THREE EXPERIENCE
Eating (1) Pinikpikan (2) in a Boodle fight Table setting (i mean, eating style) and (3) Foods displayed and eaten in a Fern covered plane.....
oww well, that was some kinda experience..,
Message to the Participants:
No matter the what your Story was during that event, i wanna tell you how proud we were that you attended a history in the making activity, you paved the way for more experiences and learning for our members and better experience for other guests to come...
because in the end
You do not get to do those things EVERYDAY,
its about time you say,
"hell, i made these and that and ill never forget what iv'e done there in SAGADA.
The Activity was set to finish just after midnight, so we had some few little talks and some socializing moments. Good night to Everyone, i hope none of them got locked out as we failed to alert some lodging owners of our activity :d
which no one got locked down, so far...
tsk! tsk! tsk!
For other groups who want to experience Bonfires in Sagada, it would be Great to ask you guide about your plans. Plan earlier as much as possible.

My favorite part are the ff:
1. The Venue. Feeling ko nasa Twilight ako! With back ground music.. How did we get here?
I used to know you so well, yeah. Oha! Oha! Kaso ako yung bampira dahil sobrang nagutom ako.
2. Buffet ala fern style. Kaso di ko nalasahan ang pinikpikan kasi lunok na lang ako ng lunok sa sobrang gutom.
3. My jaw drop watching the locals dance wearing only but g-string, my God ang lamig lamig, di ba sila kinabagan?
4. The proposal..it brings warmth to that cold December night..Yihaa! Biruin mo kumanta pa si guy ng How did you know how you brought the sun in my life..basta, something like that, kahit linilipad ng hangin ang tono..it takes a lot of courage ya know! Nakasal na kaya sila?
HI! magkakaron ba kayo ulit bonfire this november?

it would be a good suggestion if you could do a monthly bonfire ritual that tourists, local and foreign, would look forward to besides the sites.:)
