There is only one RHU located only at Poblacion catering to the public health of the whole municipality. The Municipal RHU consists of the following staff positions, namely: a Municipal Health Officer (MHO), a Public Health Nurse (PHN), a Medical Technologist (MT), a Rural Sanitary Inspector (RSI), and seven Rural Health Midwives (RHM). The Rural Health Midwives, ranked from levels I to III manage the Barangay Health Stations (BHS’s) present in the seven barangay of Poblacion, Kilong, Ankileng, Suyo, Ambasing, Aguid, and Madongo.

Barangay Health workers and Traditional Birth Attendants (TBA) assist the RHU personnel in carrying out the primary health care activities in the different barangays. (source: Sagada Municipal Planning and Development Office)

The MHO is Dr. Evelyn Capuyan of Poblacion. Their office is adjacent to the Staunton building near Ganduyan in at Poblacion Sagada.
