Forest Resources of Sagada

Forest covers 3,723 hectares of the total land area of Sagada. The mossy forest has an area of 690 hectares, and pine forests measure 3,033 hectares.

Six hundred eighty one (681) hectares of the 3,723 hectares are considered watersheds of which 455 hectares are heavily forested, 157 hectares are lightly forested and 119.5 hectares are denuded. The 47 watershed areas are distributed in the 19 barangays.
