I would like to show my appreciation to our remarkable tour guide Jay by commenting...here goes...

Our tour guide Jay introduced himself to us as Gay-A. We had a difficult time remembering his name- mistakenly calling him Gud-ay, sorry kuya...but from his page, I learned his name is even more complicated- Gayagay, whoa! Can we call you simply as kuya Jay? hehe

Anyway, Jay may seem as a quiet guy but I was surprised how he would crack jokes in the midst of silence. Yeah!

I would remember his joke “Anong puno ang hindi kayang akyatin ng mga unggoy?” I answered “Dong Puno”, but I was wrong... I said “Pwede rin naman yun ha?” For the answer, it’s best you ask him!!! Hehe

He is a helpful and strong guide, he wouldn’t mind us to step on his knees so that we’d be able to climb the tall house for our pleasure. At first, I said no, I don’t want to dirty his knees, but he insisted and he really doesn’t mind.

Yes, I also agree with the other tourists that Jay takes good pictures! Ours were really really nice!

This guy has a bright and sunny disposition who would never fail to lighten up your day and bring out the smile in everyone with his own! Kuya is very very amusing! I will not forget Gay-A as one of our tour guides in Sagada! =)

[adding my comment to express our gratitude and appreciation to the best tour guide of Sagada!]
Typhoon last weekend didn't stopped us from pursuing Sagada and this laid-back guy helped us survived Mt. Ampacao to lake Danum. The picturesque beauty of Sagada's nature, with Jay's unlimited "pambabara" and classic jokes, made this adventure worth the risk and the body pain. Such a fine man with great wit! kudos Jay!! Till next time :)
Thank you Thank you :D
Note: When you ask him questions, just make sure you ask the right question rightfully!! or else, basag ka! hahahaha :D

Kuha ni Jay nung first time siyang nag-guide sa'min. 2008. Mga two years later, si Kuya John naman.

WOW Jay! Super nice tour guide. I went to sagada just recently (may 13-16, 2014). I was lucky to have Jay as my tour guide/driver/ photographer for 3 days. I thought I'll get bored during my stay since i went their solo. Thanks to this Mr. nice, friendly and funny guy JAY "GAYAGAY" MAGWILANG who's been patient with me, my stay there has been one of an unforgettable adventure. And don't miss his jokes as well. Kudos to you Jay, I'll see again and that's a promise, as you promise me more adventure on my return. KEEP IT UP!
