Is it Safe for a Single Female Person to visit Sagada?

Written By (sagada genuine guides association inc). on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 | 10:46 PM

! Absolutely Safe!

3 out of 10 Filipinos travel alone around 60% of em are Males (Ma. Cristina Hipolito)

Sagada is known for its very safe environment where every one feels safe anywhere they go. I’ve encountered lotsa lone tourists (usually on Soul Searching mode) who spent their days enjoying all of their time in this Shangri-La Town of the Philippines.

Wondering alone is fun when in Sagada, collection for ones self, a perfect time for reflection and retreat.

Sagada is the safest place you can have your vacation whether long or short. I bravely went to Sagada alone on December of 2005 and I was then 22 yrs. old and petite (barely reaching 5 ft). I stayed there for 5 days, nothing bad happened to me even if I walk at 6am alone to Echo valley. The only bad thing that happened was I was longing for a longer vacation. ;(
I'm gonna be back again this December with my fellow volunteers.
See yah!

I, a female, then-24 years old, went to Sagada for the first time. Alone. Soul-searching mode, yes. The experience was fantastic. Never felt unsafe.

'xactly what i wanted to know! with the safety concern settled, i've another question--pwede ba mkiusap na mkisali sa group tours. medyo expensive diba kasi kung magisa ko din gagawin mag ikot.

I went to sagada alone last weekend only, December 19 to 21, 2009. First time traveller.. Highly recommended for female lone travellers and to those who want to experience the joy of travelling alone. I'll come back next year.

I courageously went to sagada despite the strong protest of my friends and roommates. They are all concern for my safety ( hehehe ) since it's my first time to go to sagada.. But it's the safest place... This place is not only for the " soul searchers " but also for the adventurous persons. I'll come back soon since I haven't experience yet the cave connection..

Whoa, I was linked up.

Im Chyng and I traveled Sagada alone last Feb4-7. It was extremely fun, challenging, and fulfilling. NOT the usual easy breezy, chillax, tamang senti destination. Go with the challenge. Risk more and enjoy more! Ü

A must try for any female biyahera out there. Why limit yourself? Pack your bags then take that bus ride. Anyone convincing you otherwise can procrastinate all they want. LOL!

Sagada is one of my solo travels and definitely had fun. I went there alone and left with 6 new friends and so many acquaintances. It's a place I can always go back to any time I want without having to worry about anythin'
