Mr. Friendy as this guy is often called, Awesome as he looks, he is one hell of a great artist. He sings, he jokes, he dances (traditional dance of course) and he is so pleasing.
photo sent by ms. Michelle Mara

Tourists being with this guy would feel they are his brothers.
He has deep concern for his clients regarding safety and awareness and really exert his best in the entertainment of his guests.

no wonder, guest feel confident hiring this guy

So if you happened to be with this guy, watch out. "It will be one hell of a tour with em."

magkano usually ang bayad sa tour guide papunta sa cave and falls?

April 29, 2009 at 11:15 AM

what can i say about Andrew...
shy...quiet...but very CARING, i never lost contact with him, days before our Manila departure, i've been in close contact with him thru text, as i was a little bit worried due to non-stop rains in Manila and even in Sagada...but he assured me that it's still safe to travel and tour in Sagada. He made arrangements for us and really took care of everyone during our tour.

Andrew....salamat talaga sa lahat! kahit wala si Erwin na una kong contact di mo kami pinabayaan, can't really thank you enough ganun din kay Gareth who added more fun sa Sumaging tour namin. Sagada will always have a special place in my heart at babalik balikan ko ito...keep reminding Erwin, he owes me one. Till my next Sagada visit my brother....i would also love to visit your village amd meet your family. Keep up the good work, i will surely recommend you to my friends and acquaintances. May God bless you and SAGGA with more tourists, be safe always....till we meet again.

Hay si kuya ang macho! What a wonderfull experince being in a cave with him. Me and my partner really enjoyed it and promised to be back in Sagada again.

June 1, 2009 at 10:15 PM

Andrew...thanks so much for guiding us through the Cave connection. A difficult trip, that you made easy for us. You always knew where we should place the next step. We loved it. We also enjoyed the next day to Mt. Ampacao and down to Lake Danum and a visit to the stoneware Pottery. I didn't know, you made that stick for me, which i was shy to accept. We regretted to leave Sagada so soon, because it's much much nicer then Banaue. Keep your town as it is. Don't let tricycle get in and make the tourists from Manila park their Car outside of the town. SAGADA should be CARFREE!!! We loved the fresh vegetable, mountain tea, real Coffee and the Yoghurt. We hope to visit you again one day. We'll recommend you and your group and certainly can send you some guests. All the best to you and your family. Regards, Judith & Tani, El Nido

Just want to say thank you to Andrew (and James) for the best caving adventure I've ever had. They kept us safe (it's true what they said about those legs of steel), entertained us (watch out for Andrew's jokes!), acted as photographers, and provided words of comfort when the drop/climb seemed so daunting. You MUST try the Cave Connection when you go to Sagada and I suggest you ask for the Andrew and James tandem.

Thanks also to Andrew for the tours to the Big and Small Falls etc. I truly enjoyed my stay in Sagada (though bitin) and am looking forward to going back there again some day.

June 22, 2009 at 4:28 PM

Andrew and James guided us through the Cave connections. They are very reliable and encouraging, especially during the dodgy parts of the caves.

Also, you can rely on them to be able to retrieve lost bags in the cave! Cherry on top of the cake is that they can do it in record time!

Hi kuya Andrew, thnk u for being such a caring tour guide. Cave Connection was never been easy for a common people like us from Manila. But u see, we made it to the Last and we really enjoyed the thrill. Your thousand humor really helped a lot.hehe. I believe it's your greatest asset...to bring out the confidence and bravery in all your clients to finish all the obstacles inside the Cave.

Keep up good work. You made our stay in Sagada worth keeping a lifetime. Hopefully, we can make it again to Crystal Cave....gdbless po

heiya! super tyaga ni kuya kahit ang bagal namin dahil sa kakapicture picture..the best experience ung sa rice terraces papunta sa bomod-ok falls. it was almost dark nun matapos kami..mild mannered kc he would gently remind you na baka dilimin kmi sa rice terraces..true enough, meron na ngang rescue na sumalubong sa amin ehehhe...he's the guide and am the assistant guide kc i always stayed at his back or sya nakasunod sa akin..from the time i asked him to guide us, i already informed him that matatakutin me pero he is always there to guide me and support me that's why i was able to finish and enjoy every activities...esp. the sumaguing cave exploration, i thought i will not be able to finish it, pero i enjoyed every single part of it..he never gave up on me ehhehe..kahit muntik na akong sumuko sa rapelling.. :)

sagada is one hell of adventure...it's hard to explain coz my words might not be enough...you should try to experience it :) will i come back..hmmm..i saw a rainbow...well whatever that means :)
