Swallows are very helpful because they hunt insects inside the cave, according to gareth. pero iba ang pananaw ni jeff. for him, ang swallow ay pulutan. hahaha

May 15, 2008 at 12:21 AM

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! ;)

Jeff was our main guide when we went to Sagada last June 4-6. He did a great job in accompanying our group. He and Lester painstakinly led our way inside the Sumaguing Cave. They never complained if we were taking time doing our pictorials all along the sites we have visited. What I won't forget about Lester is his bayawak claw necklace. It gives him the aura na exotic ang dating nya, hahaha! Seriously speaking, I thank this guy for being with our group the whole time we were in Sagada.

June 19, 2009 at 9:47 PM

Hi Jeff. Depya here, aka Ishie.

At ehem, puro girls pa. Naks, chick boy! Hehehe!

Girls, wait till you hear him sing baka lalo kayong ma-stun..hehe!

I highly recommend Jeff. What I like most about him? Well he is very composed. Ang dami ko ring 'eureka moments' with him kasi puro 'ohhh' and 'ahhh' ako sa mga info and trivia nya.

Weeee!

By the way, mas ok pag naka smile kaysa sa serious look.

May the force be with you!

hi jeff,I'm one of the 5 hot chiks na naguide nyo ni lester last may, hehehe, sana pagbalik namin kayo parin guide namin,

What can I can about our tour guide Jeff Baniaga?

I would say Jeff is very distinguished among the guides as he is very professional and takes his job seriously.

He is a calm and quiet guy but he always minds the safety and convenience of his clients.

Moreover, he’s very polite and respectful to us tourists.

I remembered he would give specific instructions on what to do "place your left foot here, ahumm, and then your right foot here, ahummm..", give informative and juicy tidbits on where we are or what we're seeing, and offer to carry our stuff or our camera when a difficult trail comes along.

Also, he takes great pictures! Thank you Jeff! He must have learned photography too! What a versatile guide! hehe

It was only lately that I learned this guy is the current president of SaGGAs, (he is indeed humble) I would say, he is a worthy leader with the kind of attitude he has.

Besides the beautiful scenery, the people of Sagada will always be one of the reasons why tourists will keep coming back, and our tour guide Jeff proved to be a good role model. Jeff made our very first trip to Sagada an unforgettable and enjoyable experience! =)

Dear Manong Ogbonan,

I really hate those terminals..tsk tsk tsk, it really makes me sad. =(

Sagada is my Neverland. I can pretend that I am the great princess Tigerlily or Tinker Bell or even Wendy.

Please give my hugs and kisses to tatay Jo, nanay kat and ate Bogs. =)

Ito po muna sa ngayon, Di ako mag goodbye because good bye means going away and going away means forgetting.

With lots of love and kisses,
Depya

P.S

ei jeff.. as promised, here's my say:

Whoever chatted with me that night from this site & suggested Jeff to be my guide, did a great job. : )

For someone who's fond of travelling alone, the last thing I want is a person who will ruin my tour. Jeff made sure that every hour that I spent on the bus & every peso that I spent in Sagada were worth it. Ampacao, I'll sure come back (coz I'm already having nightmares about not seeing the Big Falls..hahaha!)

at ang gusto kong prize:Fudgee bar!

I must say, Jeff is such a lovable guide. He's cool, strong and a funny person. Sometimes, he's a bit shy -- very formal but it just made him more interesting.. hmmm..

And oh, he's a good photographer too!

Patikim Lemon Pie when we go back... o'ryt? c yah next tym.. ^^,

Hi Kuya Jeff!:)

In behalf of our group, I would like to say thank you for being a wonderful guide during our Spelunking 101 at Sumaguing Cave.'Buwis-buhay'(as how we describe it) but you made it a lot easier, super cool and definitely, once in a lifetime experience for the four of us.:p There wasn't a single moment that we felt scared nor unsure inside the cave because we knew that we can count on you..

Again, big thanks to you Kuya Jeff!

Cheers,
Cath, Joann, Lian & Ria (Oct 14-16, 2011)

P.S. Ganda ng mga shots..:) You're a good photographer aside from being a wacky and a dependable guide!
