The Rock INN and CAFE

The Rock Inn & Café
The Rock Farm, Batalao,
Sagada, 2619
Here are some of The Rock Inn & Café’s pictures:

This is right outside the café, Café Bodega. Towards the left with the white roof is the bar where you could lounge and dine al fresco; straight a head is the inn and to the right is the lawn.
At the bar, Ming the cat (left) snoozes the lazy afternoon away. Instead of chairs, pine logs have been smoothened down for that authentic rustic touch.
At the Rock Inn’s café, Café Bodega, lit and photographed at night. This once barn house was literally transformed into this unique dinning hall. Decorated with Sagada Igorot artifacts from rice baskets as lamp shades to solid pine wood plates as card holders, this hall is an experience by its self. This dinning room could seat and serve more than 70 guests with a lot of room to spare.

Inside the Inn

The Inn’s lounge.

Above are our bunk-rooms good for groups of eight and or six. There are the bunk-rooms with their own private rest rooms and heated showers for P450 per occupant a night. Those that have common rest rooms and baths are priced at more economical P300 per occupant a night.
This is one of the Inn’s Executive Rooms with two queen-sized beds. There are two rooms like this. Both are located at the corner side of the building having two different views of the property. Also, both have their own private restrooms with hot and cold shower. For a night, we charge P1800.
One of two Mini-Executive Rooms with a queen-sized and a single bed, also with its own bathroom and heated shower, this room could accommodate three persons comfortably. Through those white curtains would be over looking an orchard of over two thousand orange trees. The room rate is P1500 a night.
*All the room rates haven’t changed from when The Rock Inn & Café opened in October of 2003.
*For more private and personal uses of a room, rooms with bunk-type bed rooms have a minimum
rate of half the room’s total capacity. A person staying in the room good for 8 needs to pay for
four people. If he’s in a room for 6, he needs to pay for 3.

hey gareth, how come i've never seen this in sagada? nice work with the rock inn and cafe post. this is the kind of information that i would like to see in your site. you can tell rock inn that you've featured them in your blog and maybe they can help you out, somehow, since you are endorsing them. and i like how you put the other links of your previous posts like "faq's", "transpo options", "what to bring," etc. im really happy how you are running the blog. very informative. makes me want to visit sagada again.

We had our breakfast here at Rock Inn Cafe last Saturday (083009) and we had Pancake with butter and Pancake with cheese. Ang laki! parang good for two ang serving, masarap! Full breakfast talaga. We also ordered Youghurt with Bluberry toppings, masarap!.. =)

Rock Inn is super nice! Rates are reasonable and affordable. Food (especially the carbonara) and ambiance are great. Place is so quiet and relaxing especially at night. People are friendly. Bang (the owner) even gave us a complimentary rice wine during our "inuman" in the bonfire area, because we only had a small bottle of bugnay wine with us. And there are dog pets (the only name I remember is Butch) you can play with.

how about Bart @ fluffy? :D

I love the rock inn. Too bad, I spent too much time touring around sagada that I didn't have time to explore other sites right within rock inn. Pero ganda sobra d2. Sleeping quarters, dining facilities, food, all-weather bonfire, and very accomodating hosts!!! Btw, Junco, that was not Bang.. it was his brother who's name I forgot as well... sorry po :D Hope to visit rock inn again!!! (btw mejo mas mahal d2, pero think of it as an entrance fee to additional unique tourist attractions in Sagada)

To those who are looking for a decent and quiet place to stay in, you should choose Rock Inn. We were a group of 15 and we stayed there last Holy Week. The place is clean and the service is excellent. The son of the owner, Bang has done a marvelous job. He agreed to buy for us our victory liner tickets from baguio to manila. It was Holy week and because we're a big group we're afraid we will have a hard time buying our return tickets if we do it when we get to baguio. Anyway, Bang even paid for the insurance. Kulang ang na deposit namin na pambayad. This is not just good customer service. I would say, this is Excellent! Also, he informed us of the special buffet that log cabin has set up on Good Friday, and again booked tables for our group. So to those of you who are looking for a place to stay in Sagada, I will not hesitate to recommend Rock Inn. :)
